The Swimming Hole
These are street children taking a break. They do not beg. They live off of collecting recycyleables and as photos shows they are having a good time. I don't have to tell you how nasty the water is.

Cambodian Wedding Party
Entering the party you are given a pen by the bride maids and with dessert an envelope and you put money in it for the couple.
Dancing after the meal. The last photo is the kitchen. I was ill the next day.
Four seasons in Cambodia: hot, hotter, more hot, and most hot. This was my lst time to wear long pants.
The next day you will not recognize any of the wedding party. This is their one time to dress up.

Bangkok's Bourbon Street
Anything and everything is on this street and it rocks all night:
Bank with teller open all night (blue and white truck)
Driver License-no problem-any state or country
College Diploma-no problem-you name
Lots of high fashion designer name clothes-nothing is genuine
CD's-all copies, but cheap
Food and Drinks
And of course, the people.

PaPa
In l975 the Khmer Rouge took control of Cambodia killing (over 2m of 10m population 1976-1979 in a genicide) all people associated with religious and artistic expression (especially all the famous). The US and UN did nothing, no oil in Cambodia.
So, today Cambodia's population is relatively young, under 35. I've been in Siem Reap now 3 months and have gotten to know many motorbike and tuk-tuk drivers (both taxis) and shop owners, considered a local now and not a tourist by many.
Now when I walk down the street: "PaPa good today", "Papa free ride", Papa, where you go?".
Gulp.
Photos take l0-l-09 after storm. l of a tuk-tuk, and 2 intersection photos (no Stop Signs or Red Lights in Siem Reap)
